So we had another awesome weekend at home. Being able to stay that extra night was great. We had everything ready last night so we just had to load up this morning. It was still hard to leave but only 4 more sleeps and our family will be back at home together again. It has been a few years since I've seen our kids all sleep together in the same room but it sure did my heart good! Thanks again to everyone that stopped over to visit, it is so good to see everyone and know that we are being thought of. Grandma made a wonderful supper for us Friday night and thanks Janice for bringing supper over on Saturday. It was delicious! Ty even liked it and he can be pretty picky when it comes to meat. Thanks Dianne for the banana bread, also delicious! We all went to LeBel's on Saturday for Skylar and Grandpa's birthdays. The rest of the weekend we were just at home but that is where we want to be. It was again busy with lots of people coming and going but Jayci enjoys seeing all her wonderful friends and family and we appreciate everyone and all that you do!!!!
Therapy was good again today. She is working on sitting up and balancing and stretching that neck. She did start to feel a little sick during it today, but once they layed her down, she recovered and carried on.
Oh ya, and also, after PT we were waiting for the elevator to go downstairs to the cafeteria and we look over, and there is Jayci with her finger in her mouth. WHAT!!!! It was so awesome to see (think she was pretty proud too). I really feel that this is just the beginning!!!
Well I better sign off now, think we are watching Cake Boss (woo hoo, not). God Bless!

ReplyDeleteWhat Jayci had her finger in her mouth! Good she can scratch her own nose know... Cassi will be so glad to officially be finished that job. Wow Jayci that's big next step will be feeding yourself once those shoulders are really moving good for you. Will have to call Grandpa and tell him as he is on a rig move and then going to his favorite place Janzen will be there till sometime saturday. Keep working hard and will see you on the weekend . ReplyDeleteSo Uncle went downstairs this morning and the basement light was on. Cassi, Tyler & Hayley were all sleeping in the rumpus room. I'm sure Hayley & Ty are still freaked out from Paranormal Activity but was wondering about Cassi. Apparantly someone was at her bedroom window last night and scared her. I found this kinda amusing because your Dad (many many years ago) used to come tapping on your Mom's bedroom window in the middle of the night. So I went out to investigate this morning and low and behold there is this big yellow ball with a smiley face on it rolling back and forth against the window. He's not quite as good looking as your Dad but he does have a nice smile.
I wonder what Cliff thought about the tapping???

The ball story is hilarious!!! Poor Cassi. I seem to remember being woken up to Shawn tapping on Starla's window too. Boy, did it ever scare this young and innocent farm girl. Such a long time ago!! :)
