It was a pretty good day today. Therapy went well and she is showing more movement in her right arm. She is working those neck muscles and can now lift her head off the pillow. She has had an upset stomach the last couple days but she isn't throwing up and she did eat pretty good at supper. It could just be a side effect of a new medicine she is on for the next few days and hopefully she will feel better soon.
Cass and I went to the mall and we are both sporting new hairdos. Cassi's looks good!!! Jordan, Rob and Lisa were up to see Jayci today. Jordan had an appointment with the neurosurgeon and she can now be weened off her collar. It was sure good to see her without it!!! Of course they had to have a picture taken of the two of them without the metal and plastic. Things are coming along for everyone!!!!
We are getting things organized and packed up again so that we can be on our way home tomorrow as soon as therapy is over. AND we will be staying until Monday morning. Yah!! We have arranged with Jayci's therapists to not schedule any therapies for Friday afternoons and Monday mornings so that will give us one extra night at home. It will mean an early morning on Monday but it will be worth it!!! Cass headed back home with Skylar but we will see her tomorrow. Ty is at Auntie's making out the menu for the weekend. I think he misses my cooking although I am quite certain Auntie's is just as good.
Well I've got to run now and wake Jayci up. It's Survivor time!!!! Not sure if I will get around to posting over the weekend but we will let you know about everything on Monday. Have a great weekend!!! God Bless!

ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear your therapy is coming along so well - Amber has volleyball in Meadow Lake this weekend but we plan on coming home late Saturday night so she can come by to see you on Sunday. She can hardly wait! Last weekend she was away as well for volley so just couldnt get there. Its so awesome for you guys to be able to come home now on weekends. Have a great time visiting with family and friends...see you soon!

Hi, good plan you came up with - no therapy on Friday afternoons and Monday mornings - gets you away in good time Friday and don't have to leave home until Monday - BRILLIANT THINKING!!! Boy your mom is smart (or opps, was it your Dad's idea? lol).

Tyler seems to know sooo much about his Mom's cooking when he's telling me "that's not the way my Mom does it" or "my Mom does it this way" that I'm pretty sure he should be the the one cooking this weekend. He may need the practice!!
