HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRADEN! HAVE A GREAT DAY BUDDY!!!!!
Jayci has a day off from therapy today so the little stinker is just waking up (10:30)???? We thought this may be kind of a long day with no therapy but Jayci's good friend Karli is on her way up and should be here shortly after lunch. Jayci is looking forward to visiting with her. We thought we may take a trip to the mall as well, to kill a little time. Jayci is up for it and says Karli can come along too, so that will be nice.
Yesterday in therapy she practiced balancing and it went really well. She really uses those arms to hold herself but has to keep practicing holding her head up. She has exercises to do to loosen up those neck muscles that have not been used for 12 weeks. Jayci's teacher Marty from RUH was also over and she has started school again. She decided to start with math, which made Marty very happy. He is scheduled to come twice a week for now and then she will have homework as well so her schedule is getting more busy, which is a good thing. The days go faster when you have something to do.
The doc says we can come home again on Friday. Woo hoo!!!! Jayci has therapy until 1:30 so we will leave shortly after that and should be home by supper. She was scheduled for school at 2:30 but we told Marty we are already going to skip out as we would like to go home. He said that would be fine and he won't schedule school for Friday afternoons. We are looking forward to another weekend at home. I thought it would make the days go faster knowing we would be coming home but I think it just makes me more anxious.
I will sign off now, think it is our shower time so better get old lazy bones up and at it. Have a great day!!!!

ReplyDeleteGood to hear the balancing is going good, keep working on those neck muscles! Heard your house was a busy place last weekend (hopefully it is not too much for you or your mom & dad), but everyone wants to see you all. We have to leave for North Battleford Friday and won't be home till late Sunday, so sorry we won't be able to get in a visit this weekend. As far as I know we don't have anything the next weekend. Had the Grad Gala last night, girls were beautiful!!!, we will send you some pics. Not a very good turn out at the Gala but it went very well. Yes, Jane had on 4 dresses and she actually enjoyed it!!! No, she didn't wear her bandana. Jenessa did Jill's hair, what a good job she did.
Keep up the hard work girl, you are getting stronger every time we see you. Sure glad you are able to come home on weekends!
