So we had a really good Thanksgiving weekend. Food was delicious thanks to the Grandmas. Uncle Ed and Auntie Shirley joined us all for turkey too and it was so good to be with everyone. We had a lot of laughs, too many to post, and some that probably wouldn't make sense. I am however amazed at how a little electrode machine can entertain the males as it did (Shawn, Darren, Ty, Brad)?!?!?! Anyways, we have a lot to be thankful for and we truly are blessed!



Today was another good day. Therapy went well for Jayci. Her trach was capped for 20 minutes but she does say it felt easier today. Hopefully tomorrow she will be able to go even longer. We have an appointment with the Neurosurgeon on November 5th, which will be just past the 12 week mark with the halo, so we are praying this will be the day it comes off!!!!!! We have also put in an order for day passes. This will mean we could take Jayci out to the mall or something for a couple hours when she feels up to it. That is kind of exciting. Who knows, maybe this weekend she will be able to take her sis and bro out for supper. Cousin Melvis came up for the day. It was so good to catch up with her. She also brought us some Halloween decorations for our room. Oh, and Skylar and Christina stopped in for a visit today too. What great kids!

    Wow Jayci that is pretty exciting news getting a day pass,where will you go and what will you do take Mom & Dad shopping ha ha better then the gift shop and takeing Cassi & Ty out for supper I am sure they would like that good for you and remember give the wink and smile. Think I will only be up saturday and will be bringing Grandma & Herb for the day and Grandpa if he ever gets home still gone Oh well I guess work is work . Grandpa called early this morning and said if you go on the site give them all a big bear hug from grandpa and a love you all very much and will see you as soon as he can. Grandma S XOXOXO

    Great news girl!! Thanksgiving is always fun and so i'm glad yours was too!!! Must feel graet to have the halo off soon. You will get there.
    Glad there were many laughs for that is the best medecine. Also glad to hear your trach is getting better and better for you each time

    I'm so glad you had a great weekend. I know getting that halo off will feel great. It was so quick and easy and felt like the squeeze on my head was released and my brain had more room. :P

    My parents are coming up this weekend and we were planning on coming for a visit Saturday afternoon, if that's alright.
