5 DAYS TIL HALOBRATION!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! MUHAHAHAHA!!!

Therapy went really well yesterday. Lots of balancing which is improving so much. It is exciting to think about the halo coming off as things should get a lot easier for Jayci. Just hope this last five days doesn't feel like a month!!!

We had a surprise visit from our good friend Jayson yesterday. Made Shawn's week, I think and of course Jayson is always good for quite a few laughs!!!! Uncle Brad, Auntie Andrea, Eden and Jael came around 3 and then Cass and Andy showed up with supper, made with love by Grandma. Ty is sick and didn't make it up here yet, but we are hoping he got a good night's sleep, will feel better today and will make it up with the Grandparents. We all ate supper downstairs and of course it was great. Jayci gave rides to Eden and Jael on the wheelchair. They thought that was the greatest but a little scary when Eden thought she should drive it!!!!

We have the suite here today so guess I will be cooking supper tonight for anyone that shows up. I haven't cooked in so long, hope I remember what to do!!! Hopefully Ty is feeling good enough to make it as I think he has worked really hard this last week with surprises for his sister. Cassi brought up more pumpkin seeds too that she made again, so will see how long these ones last.

    It will be nice to be rid of the Halo, but her neck will be weak from some muscle atrophy. She'll probably have a nice firm foam neck brace, at least it's removeable.

    And to be rid of the vest, will be Heaven!! Relief from itchiness. It was for me, but I was fortunate not to have spinal damage. I broke my C-1 (Odontoid Process - where your neck swivels) 26 years ago yesterday.

    You're making great progress Jayci, keep up the work.

    I am not sure it made Shawn's week, but it sure made mine to see you guy's. I didn't even mind visiting with Jayci! Anyhow kid, it was fun making fun of your aunty Andrea, somehow you were the instigator and I got in trouble, imagine that! I will get even.
