Today Jayci got her splint off her left arm and believe it or not, she can still move her arm. We are officially on THE LIST at City Hospital for rehab. We are waiting for a bed???? Not sure how long that will be but hopefully we will know more tomorrow. The tests for the trach will probably be done within the next couple days also. Jace is still trying to eat what is expected of her but her tiny little stomach gets full fast and her taste buds are all out of wack. I guess I can't blame her, who wants to eat stuff that tastes gross. Her spirits are still great though she was a little grumpy this morning but then she isn't really a morning person. Here is a funny story. As Jayci has lost some weight since being in here, she has been beaking her legs and calling them chicken legs. Today her occupational therapist, Romy(who we love by the way), was sick so a different OT was in to see Jayci. Well she comments on Jayci's legs and says what nice legs they are and then she says to Jayci "You must be a dancer". All of you that know Jace will understand how funny that is. Of course Jace said no, she is a hockey player. Anyways, we sure had a good laugh. Take care everyone!!!!!!
