Well, what can I say. You people keep giving and giving and it truly is overwhelming. So many things have been done for Jayci as she continues on the journey of her life, I don't know where to begin. There have been cards, prayers, prayers and prayers, well wishes, phone calls, visits, donations, words of inspiration, bar-b-ques, bracelet purchases, and of course the 2 wonderful fund raisers. There have been gifts of food, gas cards and even an I-PAD. There have been golf tournaments, hockey camps and gifts of flowers. There have been donations in memory of loved ones lost. The list goes on and on.
I continue to ask the question 'Why?' but I'm not sure I will ever know the answer. Some people say that there is a reason for everything but I don't believe that. I don't mean to be disrespectful but I just don't believe that. I do however believe that good can come out of bad if you let it and if you believe. I believe that we can learn from things that happen to us and we can take from that. We can choose to give up or press on. We can choose to be a victim or a victor. God is good and He will do good. He already has!
I am dedicating the following to all you all out there that have done so very much for Jayci and our family and YOU who have inspired ME!
Today I'm gonna try and change the world
I'm gonna take it one day at a time
I've made my resolution
I've opened up my eyes
Today I'm gonna try and change the world
I'm gonna say hello to my neighbor
Gonna greet him with a smile
And shake the hand of a stranger
Sit and talk here for a while
Gonna tell someone I love them
From the bottom of my heart
Today I'm gonna try and change the world
Gonna make sure my children
Know right from wrong
Never turn my back on those that need someone
Always gonna try to see myself
Through an other's eyes
Today I'm gonna try and change the world
(Johnny Reid)
I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Went to see Jayci yesterday at PW in Regina, very impressed with personnel and JC's determination(and smile).A friend of JC's(KO) took time out of her busy day to stop and visit,as she left she said "I love you" Jayci replied " love you too",that alone was worth the drive.
