HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNTIE SHANTEL!!! Remember, it doesn't matter how old you are, the important thing is, you are older than me! hehehe!! Hope you have a great day!!

So our company finally arrived last night at 10:30ish. Just a couple hour delay. Sherry was texting us so we knew about it and weren't sitting at the airport all that time but it made for a long night. An even longer day for the three of them. Guess their connecting plane in Denver was broken??? and they had to wait to see if they were going to fix it or bring in another plane. We were all praying for another plane, of course. Another plane was brought in and they were off. We were sure excited to see them and I think they were glad to be here. We got back to the house around 11:30 and since they hadn't had supper, we pulled out some food and all sat around the kitchen counter filling our faces on veges and dip, meet, crackers and cheese ball, and the kids had crappy dinner. Happiness!!! We didn't get to bed until 1:00!!! Cass and Ash slept with Jace, Tye slept in the living room and Auntie had a room all to herself. Jayci didn't sleep too good, so that probably means Cass and Ash didn't either.

Jace started training at 9:00 so we were up around 7:00. Shawn, Sherry and Ash went with Jayci this morning and I stayed back to get supper going. Tye was up, made his bed, had breakfast and is back sleeping on the couch. Cass is still in bed. Poor thing is not feeling very good at all. She said she hasn't felt this sick in a long time. Good thing she went to the doc before she left as she has ear and throat infection(she thinks. She couldn't understand the doctor very well). Anyways, he gave her a couple prescriptions as she was leaving the country and in case one didn't do the trick. Hopefully with some good rest, she will feel much better.

I got supper ready and in the slow cooker. The beds are made, dishes done and the laundry folded. I am going to jump in the shower then I guess it will be time to make lunch. Oh, it feels like home!! Not quite!

Not sure what we are up to this afternoon. Guess it will depend on how tired everyone is. These teenagers may need to nap you know. And since Tye will have slept all morning, he will be ready to go and have to wait on the girls. Who knows, maybe the girls will be too excited for naps and be ready to go also. I'm sure I will be told what's up when everyone gets back.

I can't post anything on training today as I don't know yet what all Jace did. I can't wait to hear tho what Sherry and Ashley think of Project Walk. It really is an inspiring place! Oh, and I didn't mention 'Rico' to you. We met him this week and he too is in a wheelchair. Paraplegic tho. He is a fairly big man(Mexican, I think) probably late 30's to early 40's, long hair he wears in a braid, and he is a character like no other. His wheelchair tires have silhouettes(in green) of naked ladies on them, so you probably get the picture. He likes to talk, and man, can he talk. He impersonates just about any ethnic group you can think of so it makes for some real funny stories. On Tuesday, Jayci was sitting beside him when they were both on the FES bikes. She usually does the bike for the last hour of training and it can get kind of boring. But not Tuesday. Jayci didn't say much while there, but I'm sure when we get home, she will have lots of 'Rico' stories she will be sharing with you all. One story was how one day he was going down a sidewalk and fell out of his chair. He was calling for people to help him but no one would. He said it was probably because they took one look at him and figured it was a scam and that if they went to help him up, that's when his friend would jump out of the bushes with a knife. Of course, hearing him tell it, we were all bustin a gut. We will see what stories she comes home with today.

Anyway, I best get in the shower. I had strict orders to have lunch READY when a certain little someone gets home. I will keep you posted!!!

God Bless!!

Love Shawn, Star, Cassi, Jayci, Tye, Sherry and of course, Ash!!

  1. I'm glad to hear you are all back at Project Walk. It sounds like a great place to be. And the fact that you're all there together makes it even better.
I'm really looking forward to seeing some new video of Jayci working hard.
I hope you get out and have some fun Starla - it sounds like all you're doing is cleaning and cooking :)
big hugs and lots of love

Hey all, thanks for the birthday wish. We have had some really sunny days and have been at the lake since last Thursday, so home to catch up on the laundry, buy groceries and back out I think!

Glad to hear your company arrived safe, you will have lots to show them and will all have a super time.

Take care, keep working hard Jay, see you soon!
