Happy Belated Mother's Day to all you beautiful women out there. Hope you all had a wonderful day. I enjoyed my day at home with my family. We watched a movie(oops, I kind of fell asleep), then they bought me supper at home. It was great!

We have had a great first week back, family and friends dropping by. Oh, it feels soooo good to be home. I would like to once again thank so many kind people out there that have shown us so much support. All the acts of kindness towards our family is truly amazing. You all are truly amazing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It has been such a tremendous past 9 months and I honestly don't know where we would be or how we would be coping if it wasn't for ALL of you. God Bless you all!!!

Jayci and Tye are at school. Cass is at work and Shawn, well he is out doing whatever it is he is doing. I am about to start on another closet but thought I would quickly post an update. I am itching, itching, itching to get out in my yard but there is so much I need to get done in the house as well, and since it is kind of a cloudy day, thought I would continue in here today. I just love to be working out in my yard. I find it relaxing and it is kind of like 'my space'. Shawn says we will be cutting back on the flowers this year. Hahahahaha, ya right!!! There is a whole pile of cans out back, and since I seem to be the only one that will take them in(well, when my friend Kelli tells me it is time) anyways, shouldn't that be MY flower fund??? You know that saying 'When Mama isn't happy, ain't nobody happy", well gardening makes me happy!!! I actually received a hanging pot as a gift this weekend and I love it!!

Jayci started back at therapy here yesterday. She will continue to go three days a week and once we finally get her equipment for the house, we will set up a schedule for that as well. She is going to start going to school Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings after therapy as well. She will continue to work on the three classes she is currently taking, Math, English and Psych. Hopefully her going in the mornings will allow her to finish her math class and if she doesn't complete the other two, she will continue with them into the summer. She currently needs 14 credits to graduate with her class of 2011. If she completes these 3, she would need to get 11 by next June. If not, we have found out she can still participate with her grad class in all their year round activities, including the grand march, which will make her really happy, but she would not receive a diploma, so therefore, would not participate in that ceremony. It seems so hard to believe that someone that has always, always, achieved in her schooling will not be able to graduate with her class but it is just one more hurdle Jace will have to jump. And I'm not counting her out yet!!!!

We have our camping trailer for sale so if you know of anyone looking for one, tell them to give us a call. We figured since we won't be using it this summer we might as well sell it and eliminate a payment.

Holy crap, is that the time?? I better get to that closet. Have a great day!!

Love Shawn, Starla, Cassi, Jayci, Tye and Giz

So glad things are getting back to normal at your house.(as if being at your house is normal).
I truly believe that Starla will have as many flowers as she wants. Step aside Shawn, the flower boss is back.
Hope you get Jayci's equipment soon. She needs to keep at her exercises.(if she eats enough to have the strength to be able to do them)
O.K. Shawn. What were you out doing??????? Better have been buying flowers for Starla!!!!!
So, Jayci. Howz it goin? Got everyone trained yet? Putting on some weight???? Better be. Keep up with the schoolwork and exercises.(not necessarily in that order).

  4. I'm sure NOBODY is counting Jayci out of graduating with her class! How could they with all she's accomplished these last few months. It's only 11 credits :) You can do it Jayci!

I'm glad that you're all home together for a while. Enjoy!

And Starla, have fun planting ALL your flowers:)

    Big hugs and love
