It is early Wednesday morning, it is raining outside and everyone else is still in bed so I thought I would catch you all up a little. We picked up the Walls on Friday and didn't even get lost. It was so good to see them. Think they were just a little bit happy to see us too. We toured around in the village Friday afternoon, picked up some pizza for supper and then just hung out at the house.

Saturday Jayci had training at PW so we all went along for that. It was good that Uncle, Hayley and Lex could experience it too and they were quite impressed with it all. There were only about 3 clients in there on Saturday which is a lot more quiet than during the week but it was fun. Shawn decided to walk down the street to get a hair cut and when Jay(trainer) told Dallas that you get the whole shabang, with hot cloths on your face and all, he took off running to catch up with Shawn. Shawn came back with his ears lowered and Dallas, well, he won't be needing shampoo for a while. Haha.

Sunday was a day off from training so we went to Sea World. I love Sea World!!! It was a pretty nice day, a few clouds came out later in the afternoon but all and all it was pretty good. We got there just in time to catch the Shamu Believe Show, which basically says, that all things are possible if you believe. What?!?!? Thought it was pretty fitting that we were there. It was pretty awesome. We had a very busy day at Sea World, taking it all in. We didn't get back to the house until 7:30 but it was a great day.

Training has been going well for Jace. She continues to get stronger and we have seen great improvements. She is sleeping better, eating good, good spirits(as long as you don't wake her too early). She is always eager to go to training at PW and always has a smile on her face while there. Yesterday she wasn't feeling too good when we got there but she sucked it up, and once she got started, you wouldn't have known she wasn't feeling her best. She is back today at 2:00 and then tomorrow at 8:00, blah, and then she is finished for this time around. We hope to start heading home Thursday, if we are packed up and ready. Anxious to get back home!!!!

We will be taking Uncle D and Lex to airport this morning as they are flying back home around noon. Then we will have lunch, go for training and then probably get some things packed up and cleaned up so we are ready tomorrow. Not sure how far we will go tomorrow but it will be that much closer to home. Not looking forward to that crazy traffic again. Once we hit Montana tho, it's a little more relaxing. Shawn just laughed at me as he said we are darn near home by that time. Whatever!

Well, that's about it for now. Hope you all have a great day. God Bless!

Love Shawn, Star, Jace, Uncle D, Hayley and Lex

So there's been lots happening in the recovery program. WAY TO GO, JAYCI!
    It's great watching the videos.
I think more weight would be a good thing for you, Jayci. Have to keep up your strength to do those push-ups. and sit-ups. and tongue exercises.
    and that great smile.
We hope you have a safe trip home on thursday.
I think everyone will be glad to get home again. When do you go back to Project Walk? According to all the reports that we've received, that is the place for you to get help.
    (and the videos prove that).
    Keep up the good work.
    We love you.
I think everyone back in Swift Current misses the Wittmier family.(including the office)
I think the new OM needs a raise because of all the CS & BS she has to put up with.
    Take care yu'all.
    Thanks for the updates.
    Love ya lots,
    Uncle Jack & Aunt Jacki
ps - hugs from Dusty to Gizzy

  5. Not sure what all the talk is about the 'New OM' ??? If the previous OM has been replaced, that should mean 'Severance'!!! After 20 years, that should add up to a nice chunk of change!!!!

  8. Hi to you all.

Pete and I just heard about your "situation" a few days ago. We are sorta going through the same thing with my nephew. He is 33. On his honeymoon in mexico he had a boogy boarding accident and is now a quad. It has been 13 months since his accident.

What we have learned is a positive attitude is the way to go. I can tell by your writtings that that is exactly what Jayci and your family have. My nephew wants to go to project walk too. It sounds like it is worth while.

Take care and know that we are thinking of you all.
