Hey there from Helena, Montana.
What a busy last couple days at home we have had. Lots of family and friends stopping over, phone calls and posts to the blog, to say good luck. We are truly blessed to have all you all that care so much about us!!!!
We left Swift around noon today with plans on driving as far as Great Falls. We were probably at the boarder about half an hour, filling out cards so we don't get dinged on the way back with all Jayci's equipment. We didn't have to leave anyone behind so that was good. When we arrived in Great Falls about 5:30, Jayci thought we should keep on driving so here we are in Helena. We originally thought we would go as far as Salt Lake City tomorrow but we may just keep driving depending how the day goes.
What pretty country it is here in Montana. We had just drove into the mountains when Shawn noticed all these little bugs hitting our windshield. Turned out it wasn't bugs but snow flakes. Haha. Just a little tho so it wasn't anything to worry about.
Cass and Tye are swimming now, Jace thought it would be too cold??? She is going to go and sit at the pool with them tho. It turned out to be a pretty good day, even though we had to leave Giz, family and friends at home. I just keep telling myself 'We will be back fool'.
Subs for the road $0 (Thanks so much Deb!)
Tank of gas $100
Seeing Cass fold herself in lawn chair PRICELESS!!!
You see, where Jace sits in the van she is ahead of the back bench seat where Cass and Tye sit. So Shawn threw in a lawn chair so when we are eating on the way, someone can sit beside Jace and feed her. Well Cass took the first turn to feed Jace her sub. First we watched her fight with the chair to get it open then, when she was sitting in it, the darn chair folded up on her. Haha! Thought Tye was going to pee his pants.
Well, I better run and make sure Jace hasn't drove herself into the pool. Take care!
Love Shawn, Star, Cass, Jace & Tye
