We made it back to Saskatoon around noon today after taking a snow day yesterday. After all the snow and wind we had, we decided it would be better to wait an extra day before venturing out with Jayci. We had a good weekend at home and the extra day was nice too. Because of the weather, Jayci stayed put at home but she was kept busy with Cass, Tye and her great friends and family that stopped by. She always enjoys the company (Think she is getting tired of Shawn and I, as she constantly tells us we are weird. I have no idea what she is talking about???). They watched some movies and played Deal or No Deal, ate good food and just relaxed. Oh ya, and we watched people try to drive up our street, only to get stuck. Thanks to the Slusars for plowing our street last night. I'm sure all the neighbors appreciate it, as do we!

This afternoon Jayci was on the tilt table, then had OT and then did some pedalling with her legs on the FES bike. She is taking a well deserved nap right now and Shawn has gone out to get us our weekly Venice House pizza. Jayci's left wrist has been giving her a little trouble over the weekend so her therapist has requested an ex-ray. She missed her pool session yesterday and not sure if it is going to work out for Thursday either but they will just have to work her in the gym.

This is going to be a short week for us here as we will be heading back home Thursday afternoon after therapy. SGI is sending an architect down to our house on Friday to see what, if anything, can be done to our house for now, to make things easier for Jayci, and easier for the rest of us to help Jayci. It will be interesting to see what they have to say.

Our good friend Greg has left the building. We got back today and found out he was moved to the Parkridge Centre this morning where he will now be residing. We can't help but feel a little sad, as we didn't get to say good bye but Greg has been waiting for this for a very long time and we are happy for him. Think we will miss hearing "Hey Jayci, let's race!", or "Hey Shawn, Gary is calling you". Haha. Good luck Greg! Last week our friend Brent was discharged and is now at home. We are so happy for him and his family as they have had such a long, hard road. Good luck to them as well!

That's it for today and good thing too as Shawn just got back with the pizza and I am hungry. Take care and keep sending those posts!!!!

Love Shawn, Star & Jace

    Morning Shawn, Star and Jay.
Cassi don't let them give you a hard time, you do just fine driving. How many people did you see stuck this week end (Sky!) Or, you could be like Shelb, just another challenge plow through anything - or get stuck trying. but the snow sure is pretty. Anyway a short week for you in Saskatoon, and good for your friends leaving the hospital. Keep working hard and you will be on your way home also. Will see you this week end as Shelby has two home games, so we are home all week end. Take care!

Glad you all had a good weekend at home. Now a reeeaaallly short week in S'toon & then back home again. Great.
So, Jayci. Did you run over anyone last weekend? I hope you at least tried. lol
I'm glad for your friends that have left the building. It'll be nice for them. You will all miss each other physically but your good memories will live forever. That's what matters.
Jayci, you had better get that wrist fixed up. You don't want to go around with a limp wrist. ha ha
Keep up with your exercises and building up your muscles. Hope you've been putting on some weight.
Hope everything goes well with the architect.
Shawn, Starla, Cassi, Jayci & Ty - Everybody keep on keepin on. Hard work is well rewarded and your all doing your share in one way or another. It all takes time but it is all worth the effort.
    Love you all very much,
    Uncle Jack & Aunt Jacki

  5. Brenda at Victory Family Church says: we love to read your posts and all the good reports - always remember to believe God's report and He says, "By His stripes you were healed". We are still praying, will continue and will never give up until we hear you are walking and running the hallways. God Bless.
