Hey there. It was a busy day here yesterday and looks to be about the same today. Jayci had OTA, tilt table, OT and the bike yesterday. She tried out a couple different manual chairs yesterday, one with anti-tippers, one without. Rob from Medichair brought over a co-worker, Elaina, who is paraplegic so Jayci could give her chair a try for size. It actually fit Jayci pretty well except it didn't have much of a back and no anti-tippers. Before they put Jayci in it, Karin asked Jayci how much excitement she felt up to?!?! I am happy to report, there were no wheelies. She is currently trying out a different manual chair, which is too big, but does have anti-tippers. The problem is, they can't find a demo chair small enough for Jayci to try, but think since she has tried Paul's and Elaina's, they have figured out what size they need to order for her. She sure works hard to wheel herself. Doing that for a bit every day is sure to strengthen those arms. Her x-ray on her wrist came back and all is good. They also did an x-ray yesterday of her neck and it too is good. Her friend Kaitlyn was here to visit for a while so Jace was happy to see her. She was in town visiting her sister and then headed home after her visit here. She also makes really good cookies!!! We went to the Smith's for supper last night and had a really good time with them. Although, Randy really needs to lighten up a bit!!! Haha. Barb cooked us a great meal and we had a lot of laughs. It's funny how even though times passes between seeing one another, with good friends you don't notice it.
Jayci had waxing this morning and tilt table and currently is not feeling too good. She skipped breakfast though, so.... She is supposed to be in the pool this afternoon and we have to fit a shower in sometime as well. We are trying to get things organized so we can get on the road as soon as she is done therapy this afternoon. So, you see, things are busy.
We are anxious to go home again and are looking forward to time with Cass and Tye (he has changed the spelling of his name, by the way). Who knows, maybe Shawn and I can tackle organizing another room this weekend???? Well I better get going. Lots to do. Take care and God Bless!

We're just trying to lighten the mood. I hope you all understand. We're just having fun. I hope no one takes us seriously(like that will ever happen).

ReplyDeletesounds like you had an enjoyable week? and your already heading home, that was a short week eh? well... car is already in the shop? what luck eh, just rattled, hopefully they will know by tomorrow what is wrong, and hopefully it will be covered under warrenty, lol. thinking i may have to settle on a bike lol.
