Jayci got the new chair today to try out for awhile. She's not too sure if she likes it but think she just needs more time in it to get used to the way it drives. Therapies went good again today and Jace is back to swimming again tomorrow. Think Auntie Brenda and Uncle Lorne are going to join us to watch, so that will be exciting for us all.
Our friend Kelli was in Saskatoon today so she stopped by the hospital late this afternoon and we all headed off to the mall. It was nice for Jayci to get out of the hospital for a while. We had supper at the food court and then got some shopping done. Oh, and Jayci managed the new chair pretty darn good too. Some of the stores are quite tight for space but she did just fine (she didn't break anything). When Jace had enough, her and Shawn headed back here and Kelli and I continued wandering through the mall. It was real nice!!!
Ha ha, like 10 minutes ago Jace said she wasn't tired and now I look over and she is sleeping. I thought she should be played out as she only had a short cat nap after lunch and then with going out and all. What a monkey!!!
Hope everyone had a good time at the basketball/hockey fun night put on at the Comp. High School today. We can't wait to hear all about it and hope everyone remembered it was all for fun (right Mrs. Mac?)!!!

Getting out is a real good thing, so i am glad to hear y'all had a great time!!! Christmas is right around the corner. Bet you can'y wait, a good break is well necessary!! I am so happy to hear you love swimming Jayci, thats awesome!! The comp. has been doing lots for you! That is awesome! I try and support you in any ways i can. Hope the chair works for you, whichever one you may choose Jace. :)

ReplyDeleteWow! New wheels, eh Jayci. Does it come with winter tires or are those extra? You'll learn to master the controls in a short time. It took awhile with the first chair, right?? Patience, girl.
All is well here. Temperature warmed up today. It got up to minus 9. Balmy Winterpeg. Ya right!
Glad to hear your doing well in the pool and that you really look forward to your " pool partys ".
It's great that you have such a loyal support group in Speedy Creek and that you are able to spend a lot more time there.
