It was another good weekend at home, sleeping in our own beds, friends and family stopping over, and just enjoying being there together. Saturday we went to Jayson and Dianne's for a delicious 33 pound turkey supper with all the fixings, oh, and don't forget the ham. They only live a couple streets over so we decided to walk and Jayci managed the chair pretty good, but it was a little rough in the snow. We decided it would be too cold for her to drive home, so Shawn went back and got the truck. It was great to get out as a family and enjoy good friends and good food. Thanks guys!! Sunday I had brunch with my ladies group which hadn't got together since the summer. We had our annual gift exchange and it was great to see all the "Ladies".

Monday, Monday, Monday. We all piled into the Shaggin Wagon this morning with Skylar coming along for the ride. It went pretty well except the windows kept fogging up so Shawn and I had to keep wiping them with paper towel (GONG). But we made it back in time for swimming this afternoon and Grandma Wittmier, Auntie Shantel and Skylar were here to watch. Think they all enjoyed watching and were so happy to see her standing. We met up with them later at the mall and all had supper together and then they were heading back home. We hung out at the mall til about 7:30 and Jayci was played out (she's still awake though?!?!?!). Shawn, Cass and Ty headed back to Ronald McDonald around 9:30 to try and get some sleep too. It was a busy day with tomorrow looking about the same. Oh well, 2 more sleeps then....On the road again!!!!!

Oh, here's a story for you. Everyone (but Mom) sure thought it was funny. Shawn had just dropped us off out front the hospital when we returned from the mall and Jayci says, "OK, let's race". She takes off in P3(fastest mode on the chair), she thinks she is going to hit a sign so pulls off the control, the wheelchair stops dead and she wasn't wearing her chest strap (thank goodness she was wearing her seat belt)and WHAM, her body flies forward. I of course let out a scream. Cass was beside her and quickly brought her to an upward position. While I am trying to start my heart again, the other four jackbutts are peeing themselves laughing. Suddenly, I think I have a little less Christmas shopping to do!!!!! Seriously though, it is really good to have Cassi and Ty here with us.

Well better try and catch some sleep now. Later!!

Love Shawn, Starla, Cass, Jace and Ty

Well, Wittmier family. I see you,ve survived another weekend in Swift Current. Or should I say Swift Current has survived another weekend with you there??? lol lol
It'll be nice for all of you to be able to spend Christmas and the holidays at your own home amongst family and friends. Sorry! We can't be there. You'll survive without us.
I hope " Santa " is good to all of you.
So, Jayci. Are you going on tour with your " RACING " chair?? Wish we could be there to see you in the pool. Even though your standing alone in the pool, you have lots of support ( friends & family ) to hold you up.
Have a safe trip back to Swift and relax and enjoy your Christmas holidays.
    Merry Christmas to all.
    Love everyone lots,
Uncle Jack & Aunt Jacki & Dusty (our dog)
