14 DAYS TIL HALOBRATION!
So, not too much excitement here today. Jayci had therapy this morning and then the wax treatment on her hands again this afternoon. Her trach was also capped for 6 hours and 20 minutes with no problems. They are still letting her drive the wheelchair in the halls so guess she is doing alright. Oh, and she did learn a new trick. Yep, she can blow bubbles with her own spit. We are so very proud!!! And that about raps up our day. Not a very exciting hump day, that's for sure. But who knows what tomorrow will bring. Hope everyone is doing well. Take care!

Hey Jayci,
ReplyDeletejust got caught up on all your latest, I was a few days behind. You are an amazing girl and I can just see that tongue peak out as you work hard. Praying for your continued streghth, I just know that trach will be out soon and the halo - we'll all be celebrating on that day.
Keep smiling
Joanne
Hey all you Wittmiers,
ReplyDeleteSo good to hear that things are going so good. I was really wishing I could have come up to see you on Sunday with Taneil & Lloyd. Oh well, next time. Jace - I am so proud of your progress. Even the blowing bubbles with your own spit - what a great thing. Kinda equal to the "see food" thingy - only I'm sure this takes way more talent!! We sure do miss you haning out at our place and look forward to seeing you again soon!
Love ya all
Glenis
blowing bubbles with spit is easy - you should try doing it with your nose.
ReplyDelete;-)
Or mouth and nose then you'll really have something
