Update: September 14

Jayci's team of doctors were in and were very impressed with her progress over the weekend. She will be coming off of the morphine today as she is on very little right now. The new meds for her ear and jaw pain seem to be helping but her jaw is still sore so they are sending up the dentist. She is eating a little more and waiting for the dietician to calculate her calorie intake. Doctors are hopeful she can come off the IV feed and not need the stomach tube. The therapist was in and again impressed with her improving strength in her arms. Speech was also in this morning and of course, Jayci does very well with the speech valve on. We are supposed to put it on every couple of hours. We cannot even tell you how unbelievably good it is to hear that sultry voice!!! And of course, her spirit is still amazing! God is good!!!!

    I miss you lots and lots. Im so proud of you with the progress you are making of course its no surprise to me. I was going to come up today to surprise you but plans changed and I did'nt want to drive up on my own. I will definately be up on the weekend tho so see you then. Love you!<3
